The grounds of the sanatorium are immense, with the institution capable of hosting approximately 500 patients at once.
“Nufărul Alb” (The White Water Lily) first opened its doors in 1984, following extensive laboratory research to identify the unique chemical composition of the local water.
Therapeutic mineral waters were discovered here that help improve the musculoskeletal and cardiovascular systems, providing a positive effect on the entire body.
Guests can benefit from a wide variety of services, ranging from therapeutic baths to phyto-aromatherapy and oxygen cocktails.
The property features an outdoor swimming pool and a large park, perfect for practicing Nordic walking or taking a leisurely stroll after treatments.
While the sanatorium is in need of renovation—with management aiming to update the medical units in the near future—the entire area represents a significant opportunity for investment.
The best way to help this landmark adapt to the modern pace of life is to visit and take advantage of its services.
Given today’s hectic lifestyle, everyone deserves a 10-day retreat at a sanatorium to recharge.

in the last weekA good sanatorium. Lots of different treatments. But it's a bit boring to be alone.

2 weeks agoUnfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with our stay at this sanatorium. Before booking, we specifically called to confirm if there were wheelchair accessibility options. We were assured that everything necessary was provided. However, upon arrival, this turned out to be untrue. On the first day, my mother, who uses a wheelchair, and her companion waited a long time to check in. When they asked to skip the line for a first-degree disabled person, they were told, "If he's sitting, let him sit." They were then given a room on the third floor. Despite requesting a room with a shower, they were given a room with a bathtub, which was impossible for a person in a wheelchair. The room was only changed the next day, so the first full day we paid for was wasted. A separate issue is accessibility. My mother couldn't access the dining room on her own because there were no ramps. Therefore, her companion had to bring her food, and because of this, her first treatments were denied due to being late. During our week-long stay, the bed linens weren't changed even once. Toilet paper and napkins weren't replenished either—it's a good thing we brought them with us. I paid for a full package of services for both my mother and the companion who stayed with her 24/7. However, no one explained where the treatments were located or how the treatment was organized. We asked to schedule treatments for my mother and the companion at the same time so she could assist her, but our request was completely ignored. As a result, treatments were scheduled in different buildings and at different times. Because of this, the companion was repeatedly late for her treatments, and even if she was just 5 minutes late, she was simply denied a massage. As a result, many treatments weren't performed. In the middle of the week, the companion developed stomach pains. When we asked where to see a doctor, it turned out there was no doctor's office at the sanatorium. Instead of a medical examination, she was given one No-Spa tablet and six activated charcoal tablets. There's not even a pharmacy on the sanatorium grounds. As for the convenience store, wheelchair access is also impossible. In conclusion, I can say that this sanatorium is completely unsuitable for wheelchair users, despite the administration's promises. The cost of accommodation and treatment is completely out of proportion to the level of service and organization. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place.
