Just 7 km from Cahul, in the village of Cotihana, a beautiful success story came to life.
Anna and Nicolae, a young and courageous couple, decided to leave their life abroad behind and build a business in their hometown. In 2019, just before the pandemic, they purchased the “La Cotihana” agro-tourism guesthouse, investing all their savings into this fairytale-like place.
Situated on the shores of a picturesque lake, the guesthouse quickly became a popular destination in southern Moldova, where locals and tourists can relax, fish, and host events.
To expand the hospitality they offer, the couple built fully equipped rustic cabins, allowing guests to stay and enjoy the tranquility of nature.
Today, “La Cotihana” is an ideal spot for relaxation, celebrations, or weekend getaways.
With modern amenities and stunning landscapes, Anna and Nicolae continue to grow their business with passion and enthusiasm, offering visitors an authentic experience in the heart of nature.

Rates:
- For events with over 20 people: 50 MDL/person.
- For smaller groups of under 20 people: prices start from 500 MDL/gazebo.
Hours: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM

- 2 kg of “Caras” fish included in the price.
Important Rules:
- If you catch a “Crap” under 1 kg, it must be released back into the pond. Larger fish can be purchased at market price.
